Michelle Williams vai estrelar o filme independente Blue Valentine, que já está sendo rodado em Nova York e na Pensilvânia. No drama, Ryan Gosling e Michelle Williams vão interpretar um casal cujo casamento vive em crise. Na medida em que o relacionamento piora, eles relembram os momentos felizes juntos.

Segundo a Variety, Derek Cianfrance, que já dirigiu os curtas Lately There Have Been Many Misunderstandings in the Zimmerman Home e Meet the lucky ones, será o diretor e roteirista. O script também será assinado por Cami Delavigne (OWotO) e Joey Curtis (Streets of legend).
